2025 Audubon Photography Awards Expands Its Reach Into South America　via My Modern Met

16年目を迎えた野鳥写真のコンテスト「Audubon Photography Awards（オーデュボン写真賞）」の2025年受賞作品です。これまでの北米（アメリカとカナダ）在住の写真家を対象にした賞に加え、南米（チリとコロンビア）の写真家のための部門を新たに設けて拡大。
南米部門では Felipe Esteban Toledo Alarcon氏の作品「Ringed Kingfisher（水面からダイナミックに飛び出すカワセミ）」が、北米部門では Liron Gertsman氏の作品「Magnificent Frigatebirds（空にシルエットを描くグンカンドリの群れ）」がそれぞれグランプリを受賞。
そのほか、野鳥たちの美しい姿を捉えた写真の数々が選出されています。
